Here's another "sneak preview" demo for the current album project, just me on everything except for the cello, that is the talented and generous Tori Ackerman, from the Prescott Chamber Orchestra, who so kindly helped me out on that. I don't know how to write music, I learn and write by ear, so best I could do was give her the chords - classically trained musicians prefer scores - but Tori came up with her own parts and executed them beautifully. The solo cello coda is Tori's interpretation of J. S. Bach's - Prelude and Fugue in C Major 553. I played the trumpet in the concert band when I was in school and we performed that composition and the melody stuck in my head all these years. It was composed as an organ piece so Tori had to transpose it into an unfriendly cello key to make it work, no easy task - thanks again Tori!
